Thanksgiving is an expression of love and gratitude not only for the things we have, but also for who and what we are. It is what the scriptures mean by the «burnt offering» (thanksgiving even for our trials and adversities, knowing that they represent the rain that waters the seed of power within each one of us). I am eternally grateful that I have come to understand this, and as I practice the art of thanksgiving, I find that the spirit within me, in sometimes unfathomable ways, returns that giving of thanks. Thus, thanksgiving is the key to all blessings we receive.
